One of our own celebrated the pending arrival of her daughter in the most feminine and beautiful way possible, a pink and floral baby sprinkle. A baby sprinkle is a relatively new concept in the welcoming of a second, third, even fourth baby in a family. Typically they are smaller and a little more nontraditional. In this case, the mom wanted an evening ladies-only dinner party with her closest family and friends. Check out Jennifer’s pumpkin themed baby shower from a few years back that celebrated her first child.
When guests arrived they went to the backyard where the focal point was multiple green hedges with chandeliers hanging above and a floral decorated ‘O’ for the baby’s name in an ornate gold frame. Guests helped themselves to a self serve drink station that included the mom’s favorite beverages from Trader Joes as well as a cocktail punch for the non-pregnant friends. All served in our drink dispensers. Guests snacked on tray passed appetizers while mingling with one another.
Guests sat down at our Vineyard tables that were paired with our ever so popular cross back chair. There were touches of pink and gold throughout the table with beautiful arrangements to compliment the overall look of the event. The gold flatware, the gold tinted glasses, along with the gold beaded glass chargers paired beautifully together. As the sun went down, guests were invited to serve themselves at the buffet. Friends and family ate and exchanged conversation for the majority of the evening. There were a couple of games to entertain the guests which included a song trivia and guess the baby photo game. Everyone also filled out cards to extend their well wishes and fun thoughts to the baby.
As the night came to an end, there was a beautiful glow from the market lights strung above and the chandeliers. After the gifts were open and dessert was enjoyed, guests began to head home. But before leaving, each guest was gifted a potted flower pant to take home. The clay pots were painted by the proud grandfather himself. It was a perfect evening to celebrate Baby Olivia.
