Details and photos from a fabulous Kentucky Derby party in Orange County

One of the best parts of May, is kicking off the beginning of the month with “The Run for the Roses” also known as the Kentucky Derby. A Kentucky Derby party is a perfect theme for a party host. The pop of red roses throughout the space is sure to appease the most discerning of guests. When we were invited to collaborate with one of the most talented event florist in Valencia, Celebrate Flowers, we knew it was going to be an amazing event honoring the over century old tradition of the Kentucky Derby. You can always count on a terrific event when working with Celebrate. The floral arrangements were absolutely stunning and created a beautiful event space.

This Kentucky Derby party was absolutely fabulous! Guests enjoyed authentic southern cooking, the featured cocktail was a Manhattan along with a Mint Julep bar, and fresh beignets were being made onsite. Friends and family enjoyed several activities such as corn hole, life-sized Jenga, a fresh flower station, and a caricature artist. There was also live entertainment and TVs outside to watch the race. Guests got to place their bets on their horse. The details throughout the event were superb. Custom signage was used to label the food, the drinks, and all the other fun activity stations.

Our products assisted in the overall look of this Kentucky Derby party. Our wood Vineyard tables were used for dining which were paired with our Vineyard benches and cross back chairs. Due to weather that weekend, we also provided clear top tents to shield guests from any rain that afternoon. Tableware included our Lincoln flatware, Royal White china, and red napkins. Black and white table runners were used throughout to compliment the red.
